okay, im back, lol. so i read a poem for coffehouse yesterday and i guess ill just post it. any poem that i post i have already read at one show or another, so heres my first one:

it all starts to sound the same
and you dont like the result.
you wanna think your worlds perfect
but they keep screaming to you:
"its not".
you wanna be better off
but your watching your world fall down
its hard to plan
for this future you dont have.
feeling above everyone else
you can read their eyes
and predict their moves,
but why do you let them win?
you cant leave
cause it would just be repeating
this whole cycle.
dont do anything drastic
cause your mind changes easily.
just give it time
this worlds not a utopia.
they wont be the way you want:
these over-zealous actors
in the screenplay you call your life.
are they only there to watch?
so now i know when it all started
and the memories slip
as mind hurts body.
if you cant trust them,
who can you trust?
certainly not yourself.
youve been there before
and times are changing
slowly
and you cant escape.
watch as it all disappears.
but like a dream,
you cant move
you cant make a sound
only to make it worse
and you can feel it,
its almost over,
but whats next?
