Everyones a let down it just depends on how far down they can go

There's writing on these walls
We traced the letters and followed on track
Our destination nowhere.
You can feed it false promises
Leave it hanging for days on end
You can steal it and tear it to shreds
Staying charming and sane
Whilst we all fall down
But it always healed
It always found a way to build itself back up.
Until you.
--Can anyone guess what I’m talking about???
I just got off the phone with my twin (Paulina), how cute of her to want to catch up and whatnot. Love her for that. We will be ghetto crashing soon so it’s all good. Except the fact that she’s sworn to kill me the next time she sees me due to the fact that I don’t sustain contact with anyone. (psssssst! She’s reading this and she loves me)

I’m beating on the walls, cause I’m the one that falls

Finished my song. It’s so cute. Took me like a month. Paulina likes it, so I consider it passed! Lyrics to this baby later…

Written in a pizza hut parking lot::
"You won’t ever catch these eyes again
Every verse
Sprawled across the floors we walked
Every line stolen, every care spent
Every breath taken, everyone left
Parasitical- we only took
Now we’ve got no one to run to
I always knew it comes to this
As I take you in, one last time
We shared emotions- not crossing lines
Crossing lives
Our cards were drawn
This joke was never meant to be
The embrace- eyes told the truth
We were the expected
In our own worlds
As you understand- taking it in
Looking to lead it to yourself"

I was seriously considering buying a trench coat a while ago. They look so cute. I remember everyone used to wear them at school. But before you buy a trench coat, ask yourself- Will I be able to function properly in a trench coat. No, I'm not referring to the length of a trench coat, but the mindset of a trench coat. I know if was wearing a trench coat, I’d run around pretending to be some sort of a secret agent. I would run around the grocery store smiling because I know what really happened to their fruit before it got in the basket (that made no sense whatsoever, but use your imagination). Or at the mall, I would do that thing where you walk fast and purposely against the wall with your fingers in that cute gun shape, trying to avoid being seen by people but miserably failing. That would probably get me sent to some in sanitarium or wherever the crazies go. So, I think I am going to hold out on the trench coat thing.
I have recently decided that I really want to move to London. Somewhere British or English or whatever. But just so that I can acquire a British accent and all of that cute lingo. Then I will rush back here to show off my adorableness.

Got like 10 of those psychology books. 15 pages into the Bell Jar. Still waiting to see why this book is so awesome.

Make out kids never have the chance to be best friends

Once again my lack of introduction gets to me. It’s been two months since she has last seen that smile. Two months since he have whispered into her ear. She now struggle to keep good memories alive. Questioning every day; if he was still here, what would he say? Reminding herself of the little things. His favorite book, color, song, place to study. Anything to keep the memory alive.
Flashback to the last night. They both knew it was over. But she couldn’t seem to convince herself that it was. She was willing to change, to do anything, to be anything. She wanted to be his everything. Because he were her everything. But his mind was already made up. It was one fight too late.
She can still remember the way he held my hand. The way he’d look at her. The way he would call her name from across the room. The way he’d make her feel like they knew each other best, that nothing could get in between them. Anything spoken from his lips was the most important thing. So eloquent, it could change her strongest feelings. And she had hoped that he felt the same.
The night after she couldn’t bear it. Piercing blue eyes caught him from across the room. And she found herself doing everything he told her not to. Pushing the limits, to faze him. She knew that she still had a little power over him.
But in the end, she was hurt even more. She knows she can’t get out of this. That half of her just died. How long will it take to grow back?

Just a few incomplete compiled thoughts (*motions above and below*)

I guess sometimes people have too much control over each other. Do they realize that when they leave they take with them a huge part of the other person? Probably not.

If you lost someone, don’t fight it. I think instead of just letting people go, we should fight back. If you’re going to lose someone, don’t lose them without a fight. This goes in any situation. Take this as an opportunity to tell them how you really feel. I hate to compare relationships to algebra, but: You already lost this person; this person was your everything, so you now have nothing to lose. If this fails, you’re exactly where you were before. But now, you don’t have to wonder anymore. And if you succeed, well, you succeeded.

I wish life was more like the movies. That everybody has a happily ever after. That no matter how shitty it seems something good always happens in the end. And they play that pretty outro music. And if it is going to be a movie outro, it better be one of those black and white movies where they show the fancy white “The End” and play some cheesy song with a lot of trumpets or something happy.

Though we all know life is noting but agreeable. So us heartbroken stand separate, together, but always alone.

I guess i wish that everyone would just stick up for what they love. and stop being so afraid. so weak. if we all took risks for our happiness every once in a while, maybe this world wouldnt suck so much.

To be continued...

They're hugging that pride like its all there is

Hmmmm...I hope that you think of me every day. With the change of the wind, with whatever else may leave an effect. It doesnt make sense, but neither do these lives. I hope you cant put the words in the right context, that you cant understand their words, your actions. I hope you thank me. And I would say likewise. Trying not to be bitter and all that jazz. Things are changing. Try to smile. And remember what you did. Multiple times. I hope you start to see things in a different light, and you change. (I'd love to comment on what Id actually like to happen to you, but im done with negativity, at least for now) Breath in deeply, let your senses show you the way. Release the demons, and work on yourself. Hopefully history wont repeat itself, but on second thought: it probably will. SO have fun on your little cycle and try to keep others out of it.

One week of summer down. Kinda loving it. Camp next week (if I get next week, but hopefully I will. Planning to finally do this shoe shopping shenanigans (did i spell that right) with whoever this weekend. So with a smile on my face I continue to type. (I amuse myself)

I think summers going to be a good thing. A break of school, and the school people I needed so desperatly to get away from.

Oh and I had this really weird dream last night. Well a few of them lately. Like a week ago I had a dream I was at a concert/school/mall and I had to do some game show involving the tshirt wall thing at hot topic and run alot and some strange drinking game. we had to run a crazy distance, haha. But I couldnt run anymore and then we were at disney world (still running) and I was running with Karen and Diamind and Jio. But then my legs gave out and I fell and im pretty sure I broke something. So Jio had to carry me the rest of the way. Im pretty sure we lost.

Last night I was at my friend Stacys house (ghetto!! :P) and we went to some park that was convinently in her back yard but then we hopped the fence and went in her house but in some other room was a hallway with the teachers lounge with awesome vending machines. so we (stacy, nia, and i) bought icecream and met back with pau nd some other kids i met at a party and we talked about how much we enjoy eating ice cream. then we went to the flea market and bought skirts and these insane bracelets. my dad came to pick me up and we were going to meet gabi somewhere (i think it was that japanese resturant were going to next week) but it was one of those dreams where you never seem to get where you need to go and you feel like shit because you cant control anything. then i was suddenly at home because i had to change but i couldnt figure out what i wanted to wear and then i couldnt take the outfit i was already wearing off. eventually i was wearing this awesome blue shirt and the cute little skirt and i was back in the car. but it was going so slowly again. i think i just got really pissed and woke up.

enjoying my "me" time. havent talked to any of you in a week (except kayla and pau) ive decided that i am going to read every single psychology book on the reccomended list (43) maybe I will learn a bit about myself. and why every one of my dreams involve a game show or me struggling to get what i want. at least im dreaming again.

Cross your fingers and hope he doesnt wait up for you. cause my touch lingers, it will be written all over you

Presented Garcia project with Mellissa on Invisible Children a while ago. Though, Pete Wentz would have been a much better topic (except for that; mustaches and their effect on history, I support that group).
I don’t have much to say, I'm just writing boredly. Brightening people’s days (as I have been informed like 537658375 times in my “yearbook”).

There is nothing constant in my life. No one constant in my life. Good to know.

Maybe I’ll continue my vignette journal with this, I have one in case you didn’t know. But this one isn’t the one I bring to school everyday. Haha. And I'm starting this little autobiography (that’s when you write about yourself, right?)

Been singing We Made You for the last week or so. Eminem needs to go bye-bye. From my head at least, I feel dirty.

One of my favorite things in the world is that ongoing competition for my affection (Annie, Diamond, nd occasionally Pauli) w/ mixy cds and more musical love

New Favorite Band: You, Me, and Everyone We Know
-happy music. ish. my mom says i need to listen to more of it or im one step closer to that psychairatrist (and, no, not Joamna, more on it later)

Listen to: Dirty Laundry

More reason to mourn not beiong able to go to Warped

And proof its good: Diamond said YMAEWK stole some of the % of her heart from the Audition.

Musical Guru Strikes AGAIN...

He loves you like a truck stop screw
"When we're alone he adores me"
You best get it straight, say it
"When we're both dressed you just bore me"---Life

Waiting. Fading. Floating Away.

Sorry. I realized that I haven’t posted much. For a week exactly. I won’t go into my schedule but it was lengthy. And even when I was free, I was too ugh to write anyways. Life’s just been whatever, and I doubt it gets better.

I think life pretty much comes down to trust. If you can’t trust anyone, you can’t live. You can’t do anything. You’re constantly fighting to determine whets real or not. What people are conspiring, who is really on your side. It reaches to point of being quite ridiculous.
But what people do behind your back can be surprising. Even what the do in your face. They hide, they lie, and they change stories. If you feel someone isn’t being real, you should run.
I can tell that about some people. When they “talk down” to you. I really can’t stand it. You can just tell.
But what really gets to me is when you find out that you can’t trust those close to you as much as you thought you could. When words spoken in confidence are twisted and repeated. Lately, its seems as if I can’t tell anyone anything. I'm to worried they will be judgmental. That I will change the way they see me. I don’t trust them to be there.
Using you. Toying with your emotions. Do they realize? Of coured they do. Your just too much a fool to turn away. You think you will be okay, but deep down you know it wont. And you know life goes on, but you feel its over. Cause you know that this will happen again. And that’s the only reliable aspect of this person. More pain.
Should I let go. Maybe my thoughts are obsolete. That’s another thing I do; I have no complete grasp on reality. So confused. And the person I thought would be there has long since disappeared. But don’t worry, cause tomorrow I will forget this all. It’s always that way.

She's got the soul of a poet and the fire of a bullet. She is what she is, nothing left or unspoken. She don't love you no more.

It's raining. Actual rain. I love rain. It washes everything away. If only i could rain, protect everyone, cover them. But disappear as quickly as I came. And bounce back to myself to do it again. The storm symptoms are even better. They never fail to make me drowzy. Wanting to sleep, to escape. But ironically, the only thing I've been able to dream about is school. I'm either learning or being confused, or angered, or hurt. Every negative feeling. Just like the norm. And when I wake up, the dream begins. But its a reality.
My newest catch phrase is a cross between an "I don't know." and an "I don't want to talk about it." Which is normally true, but the only person I wish I was'nt fooling is too stupid to realize otherwise.
Lately I've been contemplating with a friend. About love. She is super insightful, so today I asked her, "Who are you so crazy about." Se replied "Nobody, I'm in love with an idea." At that moment, I had an epiphany (thats the correct word, right?). The answer. Love isn't love. You never fall in love with a person. You fall in love with an idea. Are these ideas true? I write as my vision begins to blur. I don't think you fall in love with what someone does. But the whole excitement is for the future. What this person will do? Will they be there?
This is such an incomplete idea. But I think it answered my question. We must love someone that we know will be there, that we know will remember. Someone that we know knows. Instead of falling for someone over stupid present-day things. Or the past. The past is the worse. But how much do I know?
How many poets write about experiences they never have. Do they make the details descriptive enough to feel important? To have something desired?
And my eyes are closing. I wish I could dream the answeres (Kinda like Angela). To feel the future, and then experience it. So that I know the path to take. To know, that I know, that everything I am and everything I am about to be doing is wrong.

So take back your soul; a life to uphold, a lie to be told. Cause lifes not set in stone.

"You live. And you think that your the one who's always gonna be there. Your craving to be there. Needed. But you dont understand that your parasitical. Through actions without realizations. And I'm usually not easy to break. To show. And I can't stand it. Not anymore. Wishes, expectations; that everything is going to be okay. But our plastic smiles tell you otherwise. Everybody knows it. Can the end redeem? How loud can the past scream? Will they hear it? But you dont want to be the one to lose. Though through it all, I do need someone. And it could be you, if only you could pretend. Are you capable? Through these trying times, how much do I really matter to you anyways? These intensities, bottled up, knocking on the walls for a passage, a way out. But there won't be. As I increase this stock. Is it complexity, or just a cry for help? And how different are the two? And your stiff bitter accusations. How difficult is it to censor your lips?"--fml in biology

Don't want to tell you but a year ago this was over.

And please dont worry about me. I can take care of myself. I got out of it before. And it will happen again. Cause history repeats itself. After being branded its first time. And, hey, at least I've made it this far. Lengthwise and without you. So please, dont let this matter. Just stay the same. Cause changes cause the most pain. When you remember what you did have. When you felt complete, or semi-complete. And I'm crying out: How many mistakes am I allowed? Who is going to cry "game over", where are our warnings...As often we find ourselves spiriling downward. Honestly, I know, this will never cure. I apologize for not being what you wanted. And I'm sorry the feelings were'nt mutual. Please.

You are everything I want. Cause you are everything I'm not.

“Sometimes I wish
That you’d just leave
And stop making it so
Hard to breathe

And your whispers
Were slightly heard
They said they wanted lies
And you were there to say the word” –fml at 11:45

Quick thought:
Think back to all the Disney movies that you watched when you were a child. Now try to name one that both parents are alive in. it’s not easy. Ariel didn’t have a father. Cinderella’s mom died. The Lion King; was there parents, I can’t remember? Finding Nemo! Yep, both a mom and a dad! Too bad they decided to kill her off in the first five minutes.
Basically every Disney movie includes death, or violence, or some kind of tragedy. Yes, it does provide for plot, but should a child be exposed to this? Whatever.
I heard that the new movie, I think it’s called Earth, took it too far. Instead of one or two, there were three animal killing scenes. That’s too much. Even the adults were scared by this, so it wasn’t subtle stuff. And it’s never the normal animal to get killed, you always have to watch a child, or an oldie, or a sick one die.
So go Disney. Life is cruel…

But Yay today is my birthday. And I got to wear my pretty dress today. It is a little baggy though. But I got 2 awards and quite a few laughs with Roxana at the ceremony. Oh and cookies, and brownies, and cupcakes. Which I brought to 5th and they were eaten within 30 seconds of being revealed. I didn’t get much of that. But it was all worth it when Jake spit out his oatmeal cookie because he thought it was chocolaty.
And Diamond’s email last Friday was enough for a lifetime of love. And Pauli gave me a letter that almost made me cry with the feelings of being important. And yummy smelling sprays. On the back was this mind-blowing poem. That I'm going to be greedy and keep to myself. I'm so thankful for people like this. Most of the time. People like this never fail to blow my mind (Can I ask you a hypothetical question?)- So yea, pretty interesting day.

Book signing tonight. Grabbing my size 3s and paint-splattered V-Neck as we speak. Or as I type (even though you can’t type and get dressed at the same time) Picking Kayla up later. This might just be interesting.

Oh, and the Psycho mock is finished. Edited. We missed so many shots, and I'm terrible at dying. Which I cover up with the extremely accurate fact that the storyboards were wrong so I didn’t know what to do. Ms. Garcia saw it, and everybody else’s so I'm sure I will be hearing about the hilariosity of this later.

Ice Cream soon. And Self-Titled Album (the Audition) released today. I can’t wait; Lela’s buying it for my prezzie. My favorites are the Running Man and Los Angeles. Los Angeles has the cutest theme; the dude is jealous of Los Angeles because it gets to keep his love for two months. <3>

How insincere are your fingerprints?

I finally have something to live for. Something to distract. Something tangible to rely on. Can I? Oh so doubting. But as those who really know, I’ve needed this, for a long time.

So update on Psycho…..we have yet to film the real thing. We put together a draft this week (well filmed, that is) but my oh-so-ready-to-work group got a start two days late. I get to be Marion (the girl who’s violently stabbed in the shower) and Paulina is Norman. Our shots are pretty cool. We did the draft in the school bathroom so the setting is semi-realistic. (And it helps that I look pretty cute getting stabbed-as previously mentioned, it’s my conceited day) so I can’t wait to do the real thing. I'm sure the blooper reel is gonna be extensive. I'm sure you can imagine the level of seriousness me and Paulina have when she’s stabbing me.
Example: One of the shots was of a wide of her stabbing me (obviously) but I was to block myself with my arm, and she was to pull it away and continue, well, stabbing me. So she grabs my arm and holds it there. We stop; I'm supposed to still be getting murdered. But Nia, who is doing the screaming noises for me because I'm out of breath, continues to scream. I have to move my arm to make it look like she’s stabbing me to tell her to go on. She then goes oh! And continues. But at this point I'm on the floor (which I tend to do a lot when I'm laughing-trip over myself)

Reasons why I am Holden Caulfield:

-extremely cynical (skeptical, sarcastic and whatever else comes with it
-which reminds me of Wednesday when Ms Garcia says “How can you be so young and so cynical?”...She now calls me Holden)
-Mocking of Romeo and Juliet
-Mocking of how people practice for their jobs
-Hanging on to a memory
-Kinda slack (but I'm not that bad)
-I do tend to have catch phrases

I don’t know, anything I missed (cough, cough Annie)

And even if your whisper eats my ear, your voice will be the only sound I wanna hear.

The alarm had been ringing for about 10 minutes. But she preferred to lay there and pretend to sleep through it. She lay there for a while, thinking of how she could make this day better than the previous. Then he mother started screaming.
But as before, she just lay there. Until her father had his turn. After a few seconds of that, she figured it was time to give in. She pulled the covers from over her face and opened her eyes. "Are you happy now? I'm up!" she fumbled for her glasses and stood up. Her counter top was chaotic. Jewelry, old batteries, spare change, and her scissors covered half the space. Slowly, she walked out of her over-cluttered room. Careful not to step on the mess of clothes, books, and cds (yes, she still does cds). It was 5 o’clock.
She walked the hall until she got to the washroom. She turned the faucet, flooding the shower with hot water. She stepped out of the shower. Waited for the mirrors to steam up as she stared at her reflection.
20 minutes later she had a towel wrapped around her head. She walked out to the kitchen to look at the food. But she didn’t eat anything. She wasn’t hungry enough. She walked back to her room to find something to wear. She settled for an orange polo. Orange is her least favorite color. She pulled out the beige Dickies and slipped them on, wrapped an old shoelace around her waist, and zipped them up. Nothing in her closet fit her anymore; it was baggy and hung off of her in spots. Though, this uniform still never failed to make her feel twice as big as she really was.
In the bathroom, she dried her hair. She tried to make it as good-looking as possible. But she knew her part would be messed up by third period. Waiting for her ride, she did the little things. Like pulling on her bracelets. One at a time, they hid the truth. And repainting her nails. As she covered them in electric blue, she promised herself once again to stop chewing them. She has been promising this for months.
She got to school to face the awkwardness, things had changed, but she’s not one for complaining. There's not really much for her to say except that she’s bored. Bored with how predictable people are. And bored of how predictable she is. Each one of these "friends’ have a part of her. One she would never have. If only they could fit them together. And these classes are way too easy. But why couldn’t she make the better grades? Have the high GPA, like them?
She was careful to stay close to those she needed. There were only a few of them left.
She waited her 7 or more hours of torture. Then she got home. To deal with whatever task awaits her there. Happily she changed into acid wash jeans and an old tee-shirt. Finally, she was comfortable. She washed her face about 20 times to remove the "school germs".
She switched into autopilot. She did a bit of her homework while she drowned out the noise with an indecipherable screeching that sounded a bit like a witty, heartbroken 20 year old. (Mostly just to get on the nerves of her sisters who would rather be playing a tween Jonas Brothers tune.) She was either going to play that or something acoustic. But it was always about how love sucks.
She went online and laughed when she found herself talking to everyone but who she really wanted to hear from. But she continued the smalltalk because she didn’t want to be alone. She was then called for dinner. Spaghetti. Again. More boringness, but this time you can eat it. She kinda stirred it around on her plate for 10 minutes then ate half of it and said she was full. She watched a half hour of television. Nothing was on that interested her. Finally, she went to her room and found a book.
She lost herself for 2 hours. It was peaceful, no distractions, no phone calls. Not that she didn’t mind feeling needed, everyone wants to feel needed. But she needed a break. It was 10:30. She went back online and talked. She caught up with a few people she hadn’t seen in weeks. They reminded her of what it feels to feel normal. To be with people because you know them, not just because you have too.
She analyzed herself before she went to bed. She was being stretched in all aspects of her life. She didn’t know how to deal. But she put her hair up and lay down again. It was 1:15.

im sick and tired of being sick and tired

Sometimes, you can watch the person you care about slip away and not even realize it.
There were so many things worth noticing. But nobody did. Nobody noticed the freckle just under his right eye. Nobody saw the way his face lit up whenever someone talked about human rights. Nobody got to hear him as he smiled and strummed his guitar.
Nobody knew he wanted to be an astronomer. Nobody saw the telescope set up right outside his window. Nobody sat there with him, into the night, as he explained every constellation, every star.
Nobody knew that he wanted to be one of those stars. So that he could feel bigger than himself. Nobody would listen.
And now he's gone.
Nobody got to know his story. Nobody got to hear about the abuse. Nobody got to be his first love. His first kiss. Nobody got to break his heart.
Nobody ever will.
Nobody ever got to hear him. Nobody knew what he had to say. And if they did, would it have not happened. Could that person have changed him in the long run? Could I have been the one to fix it, just with a smile? These are the questions that haunt me. If we would have showed compassion, would he have stopped himself?
Nobody will get to know.
So I'm feeling inspired. Ive recently come to terms with the fact that my school is full of screwed up people. But possibly for different reasons, but ill transition. Right now, I really feel that the time is right to make something more clear. I promised my best friend that I would teach people about this…
I'm sure you’ve been in a Hot Topic, and if you have, you’ve definitely seen or heard of To Write Love On Her Arms.
"To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide."
The point of this organization is that everyone can struggle with depression. Depression doesn’t have a face, it just exists. And we may not even be able to see it.
"We’ve learned that two out of three people who struggle with depression never seek help, and that untreated depression is the leading cause of suicide. In America alone, it’s estimated that 19 million people live with depression, and suicide is the third-leading cause of death among those 18-24 years old."
There are so many forms of depression. And 2 out of 3 of those strugling, don’t seek help. Untreated depression is the number one cause of suicide, and suicide is the third leading cause of death among teenagers "Experts estimate that 4% of the population struggle with self-injury. It has the same occurrence between males and females, even though in popular culture it can appear to be more prevalent among girls."
Emptiness, Inability to understand or express feelings, Loneliness, Fear, Past Abuse, Depression
So next time your in Hot Topic, don’t pass up buying one of their shirts. Your saving lives, not for some charity for sick/old people. But people like you. That need help. That need saving, support, and so many other things. I will be sporting one of these shirts, as soon as I get the cash. But for now, here’s the story the organization was founded on:
To Write Love On Her Arms
Pedro the Lion is loud in the speakers, and the city waits just outside our open windows. She sits and sings, legs crossed in the passenger seat, her pretty voice hiding in the volume. Music is a safe place and Pedro is her favorite. It hits me that she won't see this skyline for several weeks, and we will be without her. I lean forward, knowing this will be written, and I ask what she'd say if her story had an audience. She smiles. "Tell them to look up. Tell them to remember the stars."
I would rather write her a song, because songs don't wait to resolve, and because songs mean so much to her. Stories wait for endings, but songs are brave things bold enough to sing when all they know is darkness. These words, like most words, will be written next to midnight, between hurricane and harbor, as both claim to save her.
Renee is 19. When I meet her, cocaine is fresh in her system. She hasn't slept in 36 hours and she won't for another 24. It is a familiar blur of coke, pot, pills and alcohol. She has agreed to meet us, to listen and to let us pray. We ask Renee to come with us, to leave this broken night. She says she'll go to rehab tomorrow, but she isn't ready now. It is too great a change. We pray and say goodbye and it is hard to leave without her.
She has known such great pain; haunted dreams as a child, the near-constant presence of evil ever since. She has felt the touch of awful naked men, battled depression and addiction, and attempted suicide. Her arms remember razor blades, fifty scars that speak of self-inflicted wounds. Six hours after I meet her, she is feeling trapped, two groups of "friends" offering opposite ideas. Everyone is asleep. The sun is rising. She drinks long from a bottle of liquor, takes a razor blade from the table and locks herself in the bathroom. She cuts herself, using the blade to write "FUCK UP" large across her left forearm.
The nurse at the treatment center finds the wound several hours later. The center has no detox, names her too great a risk, and does not accept her. For the next five days, she is ours to love. We become her hospital and the possibility of healing fills our living room with life. It is unspoken and there are only a few of us, but we will be her church, the body of Christ coming alive to meet her needs, to write love on her arms.
She is full of contrast, more alive and closer to death than anyone I've known, like a Johnny Cash song or some theatre star. She owns attitude and humor beyond her 19 years, and when she tells me her story, she is humble and quiet and kind, shaped by the pain of a hundred lifetimes. I sit privileged but breaking as she shares. Her life has been so dark yet there is some soft hope in her words, and on consecutive evenings, I watch the prettiest girls in the room tell her that she's beautiful. I think it's God reminding her.
I've never walked this road, but I decide that if we're going to run a five-day rehab, it is going to be the coolest in the country. It is going to be rock and roll. We start with the basics; lots of fun, too much Starbucks and way too many cigarettes

keep telling yourself that, maybe it will come true

Sometimes we all get this idea in our head. This identity that we all want to have. We try so hard to be good enough for ourselves that we keep pushing our standards. We are killing ourselves. Instead of realizing that we don’t need to think so hard.
Sometimes we care so much about what other people think that it takes over our actions. And we end up hurting ourselves even more. We can’t stop because we think were doing whats best but its not. And we think too much. We over analyze every person’s actions when we really shouldn’t worry. We really shouldn’t worry about the people who mean nothing to us, and should focus on the people already in our lives.
We can tell you every single detail of all the subjects that don’t matter. Because they are easier to focus on that our everyday lives.
And some of us need to be more sensitive to other people’s feelings. We don’t realize how much our actions affect other people. We don’t notice when we break anyone. We just continue to relentlessly use. We suck all of the hope as these people get sucked into our webs. And they can’t tell us how they feel. These people are scared. But they have to deal with it. Because we don’t care. About anyone but ourselves.
We never learn the truth in these situations because nobody tells us. Nobody thinks we will listen. They think we will pretend to care for a few seconds (days) but then as soon as the emotion came, it will leave.
You can’t stop if you don’t try, and you obviously aren’t. Because if you were trying things would be better. You need a better strategy. Because personally, I don’t think you care. About anything. Are you just tricking yourself into thinking you care? Or are you tricking us?
People need to learn to be more sensitive to other people’s feelings. Sometimes the things you do hurt people more than you realize. But they don’t let on.
The thought process is so complicated that we never can tell what people are thinking. Do you find yourself paranoid? “Everybody goes through this.” I keep repeating it to myself until it sounds partially true.
Everybody is unique and we all come off differently. Nobody has ever managed to please everyone. Nobody has ever had anyone on their side. We need to figure out whats important and go with that. Look at what we have, look at what we could have and be thankful.
We allow ourselves to give up. We appear to be “desensitized” when we are really emotional wrecks. We tell ourselves continually that we don’t care, when its all we can think about.
Some people will change, some people wont. But be aware of your surroundings and learn to “deal with it”. Nobody brought this upon you but yourself, you know it’s true. And don’t change; we know you well enough too see through it. If you are going to claim that you care what other people think, take their advice and don’t tell them that they are wrong because that is hypocritical.
It’s never easy to learn of your own flaws. But we all have to face them sometimes. We have no right to complain if we are not trying to make a difference. The only thing we have is hope.
We keep pushing and pushing for this perfection, but let me ask: what happens when we achieve our goal? Do we keep going? How many people did we hurt on the way there? Do we care? Did we hurt ourselves? You don’t care, you never have. All anyone did was try to help, but you couldn’t see.
Am I talking to myself?
Lose yourself in another identity, who knows: it could be your own. How much do people know of you to be able to distinguish between the two? Just be content. If you can’t change a situation, don’t try to.
I wish I could be there. But it’s impossible to help everyone at the same time. I can’t even help myself at this point.
All of these flaws, all of these mysteries, make people beautiful. “How can I love someone who doesn’t even love themselves” How can anyone?
Can you not sense the confusion. The split personality. We are indeed, broken.
We use, and manipulate just so we can take ourselves seriously. Secretly we think of each other as pathetic. The same way we think of ourselves. We count our wrongs when we should be counting the rights. We can’t take our own advice.
We know exactly how to make our situations better. But we don’t. We are scared. But are we scared to admit our flaws (out loud) or are we scared that it won’t work. We need to live in the moment to fix our mistakes. Otherwise we tear ourselves apart. A bruise for everytime the memory haunts you.
We put on these acts to fool ourselves into thinking we are truly happy. These are the times when we most feel ourselves. These are the times that we most regret. A spur of the moment decision can feel great at the moment, but in the long run it really hurts you. We wear our hearts on our sleeves, but they are not our “hearts”. They are the “hearts” of the personality that we see fits the moment.
Eventually everyone who cares gives up. We use them up so much, they feel there is nothing else they can do and they become bitter. We find ourselves ruining every good thing we have going for us. There are so many instances where we just want to give up, but we don’t. We trick ourselves into thinking it will get better. In the back of our heads we know it won’t. We just want to see how we will fail next.
We hurt ourselves for control.

A world full of needs
Overcome by desires
When you know your overthinking it
Flames for the fire
When you cant finish a sentence
Let alone complete a thought
You cant distinguish between
Whats real, and whats taught
Your a metaphor for disaster
The poster child for fray
You wanna cross the line
And go your own way
Theres always more to it
Too much on your mind
Cause you cant afford to either stay
Or leave them behind
Nothing going for you
Without a catch
Cuse you wont be satisfied
Youll just detach
You dont have much
Aside from me
But its too subtle
You didnt see
So now im gone
And there you still are
Hopefully this will suceed
You wont go too far
Im not getting lost
And you know it
Its all up to you
Do your best not to blow it
Cause we’re all people
And we think the same
Interpretation though,
Keeps the mind satisfied and tame

no voice...

gabi is here with jeannie and she says hi :DDDDD

okay, im back, lol. so i read a poem for coffehouse yesterday and i guess ill just post it. any poem that i post i have already read at one show or another, so heres my first one:

it all starts to sound the same
and you dont like the result.
you wanna think your worlds perfect
but they keep screaming to you:
"its not".
you wanna be better off
but your watching your world fall down
its hard to plan
for this future you dont have.
feeling above everyone else
you can read their eyes
and predict their moves,
but why do you let them win?
you cant leave
cause it would just be repeating
this whole cycle.
dont do anything drastic
cause your mind changes easily.
just give it time
this worlds not a utopia.
they wont be the way you want:
these over-zealous actors
in the screenplay you call your life.
are they only there to watch?
so now i know when it all started
and the memories slip
as mind hurts body.
if you cant trust them,
who can you trust?
certainly not yourself.
youve been there before
and times are changing
slowly
and you cant escape.
watch as it all disappears.
but like a dream,
you cant move
you cant make a sound
only to make it worse
and you can feel it,
its almost over,
but whats next?

yea, so thats it. the show was a megaphail
and
"id give you my heart, but i need to find one first"

i dislike hellos because they mean were one step closer to goodbye

im kinda of confused right now. ive been recently thinking alot about what it means to be conventional. isnt that just when something works correctly, functions properly? and ive been thinking: as much as id like to be, im not a conventional person. and im constantly bringing myself down upon that thought. im really working on that, but the way i am, thats just me. i pretty much tore myself down for the longest time internally then i got bored with that. i then noticed that my blogs not that conventional either. not like annie's, or danny's, or tom's: i had no beginning. was i supposed to have a beginning, do i even care? i dont. but thats the problem. im letting all these people see a smidgen more than what they normally see, this is just an outlet, way more personal then my journals. more personal in the sense that i can make it colorful and sugarcoat things. my journals would be soo much more personal in the sense that its me, and the thoughts set to run across my head. i dont want to come across as some stupid person who writes about crap, i want to come across as me. but am i just some stupid person who writes about crap? i dont know i dont want to be. but i just want to be. corny, deep, sarcastic, slightly annoying, hyper, myself. so as my late blog beginnig/introductory thing: hi, my names jeannie.
so hows that?

Cloaked in her matching pinstriped arsenol of next month's nows

"Take a deep breath and let it out. She grabbed her pen and began to flow, to write the first thing that came to mind. Without thinking much. Cause thoughts are what screwed her over in the first place. To laugh over it later, the irony of emotions. But it became addicting and she couldnt stop. She began to view her life in this vision. But it was abstract. She slowly painted her world blue. And it became a joke. She started to worry as fiction morphed into reality. But she had become obsloete, even in her own mind. She was just the writer in the world where the charectors overcome."-me

"Jewels and stones cut so precise. Held up by a ring. Catches all glances and looks Hoping to distract from The finger to the left So bare and unfurnished Named for sporting such hardware. With dreams cut so precise. She's held up by her strings. She catches all glances and looks Hoping to find someone who can Dress her naked hand. I'll tear my heart right out And have you sport it as hardware."

one more day

"Life is made up of different actions ready to be triggered by a word, an action. If Im there to say that word or make that action, then the hurt never happens."- Iris Johanson Pandora's Daughter.

This is really true, when you think about it.

"After another long day, she starts another bored with the way they call her name. Tired of how they stay the same. Too perfect. And shes used to disaster. Even when theres a change, its only for a moment. Its a circle, a cycle. And its not any circle of life. Cause its not as glorious. And the stars dont shine as bright anymore. Like theyre fading with every rotation of our weary-eyed globe. And the colors have been through the machine like three too many times. The lectures have lost her attention. The textures lost their feeling. Amazing how nobody is what they seem, after theyre unmasked. Then confusion takes over, and with it leaves knowladge, passion, and logic. Not even counting the celing tiles puts her to rest. Nothing, just she and her mind, in this together. And she found herself slipping away. Slowly, while they watched and told her they cared. The beauty of a person torn under pressure. What would they say, if put on the spot? What would she say, if they tried to save her."- me
